NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Miami-Dade Fire Rescue is on the scene of an overturned boat that left two people stranded in Northwest Miami-Dade, Friday afternoon.
According to fire rescue, officials received reports of an overturned vessel in a body of water known as Lake Henry, located in the area of Northwest 135th Street and 24th Avenue.
Once fire rescue officials arrived to the scene, they retrieved one person safely. The second person, who was discovered on top of the overturned vessel, is still being assisted.
The boat overturned on the side of the lake.
