2 cars involved in SWMD collision; 1 airlifted to nearby hospital

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - A two-car accident required a person to be airlifted, Thursday afternoon, in Southwest Miami-Dade.

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the collision involved two cars, where one driver needed to be extricated from their vehicle and the other to be airlifted to a nearby hospital.

7SkyForce HD was over the scene, at168th Avenue and 288th Street, where officials have closed the road in both directions.
