DAVIE, FLA. (WSVN) - One person is dead after a fiery car collision in Davie, Sunday morning.
According to police, the two-vehicle collision happened along Interstate 75, between Griffin Road and Sheridan Street, at around 5 a.m.
The impact caused one car to flip on its side and burst into flames, killing the driver inside.
The other motorist was not injured.
The southbound lanes of I-75 remained shut down for hours as police investigated. They were later reopened to traffic.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
