WEST PARK, FLA. (WSVN) - Two men were killed in what authorities described as a murder-suicide in West Park, early Saturday morning.
Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene along the 3700 block of Southwest 58th Terrace, just after 2:15 a.m.
According to witnesses, 33-year-old Henry Zito shot Abdiel Morales in the chest and then turned the gun on himself after an argument.
Investigators said Zito died at the scene. Morales was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at around 9:30 a.m.
Friends and family said the two men were friends and neighbors, and had been hanging out all night.
The shooting remains under investigation.
