DAVIE, Fla. (WSVN) — The former IT director of the Town of Davie has been arrested and charged for setting up a hidden camera in her office to record people who entered.

According to officials, 45-year-old Tina Tysinger recorded a private meeting with staff members without their knowledge or consent in 2013. Inside her office at city hall, police found a small alarm clock that contained a tiny camera and microphone.

She was accused of purchasing the device and several accessories, over $200 worth, with the town’s credit card. According to detectives, the device she purchased is available for sale online under the name "Top Secret Spy Camera Mini Clock Radio."

She was fired in April of 2014 after a criminal investigation was launched.

On Monday, she was arrested and charged with four counts of illegal interception of communication. She has been released after posting a $4,000 bond.
