CORAL GABLES, Fla. (WSVN) — A driver slammed into a Coral Gables pharmacy after taking evasive action to avoid a collision with another driver who, she said, had cut her off.
According to police, a 30-year-old female driver told police she was cut off by a driver at the intersection of Madeira and Ponce de Leon in Coral Gables, Monday afternoon.
As a result, the driver crashed into the Coutler Pharmacy at 1800 Ponce de Leon. A clerk and customer were inside at the time of the crash. They sustained very minor non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The driver was not injured.
Crews have since boarded up the store and cleaned up the damage.
Police continue to investigate.
