SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) — A police chase of an alleged carjacked vehicle ended in a crash in West Miami-Dade, Thursday, with two suspects caught but two still at large.
According to police, a stolen vehicle headed on the Florida Turnpike, near Kendall Drive, and then exited onto Bird Road, at around 4 p.m. The police chased the stolen vehicle through Coral Way and Southwest 57th Avenue in Coral Gables before a crash and four subjects bailed out of the vehicle, at Southwest 20th Street and 60th Avenue in West Miami.
According to Miami-Dade Police, two are currently in custody and two are at large.
One of the two suspects was able to make it to the roof of a home before police moved in and apprehended him. The other was found nearby on the street and was apprehended, as well.
The search continues for the two other subjects.
