Everyone loves great Asian food, and tonight we’re going to show you how to whip up a gluten free Vietnamese classic. That’s what’s cooking tonight as we grab a Bite with Belkys.

The Chef: Jessica Knopf
The Restaurant: Sriracha House on South Beach
The Dish: Vietnamese Rice Noodles with Shrimp & Green Curry
(***gluten-free)

Ingredients:
2 tbs. vegetable oil
1 egg
1/2 tsp. garlic (peeled and chopped)
1/2 tsp. ginger (peeled and chopped)
1/3 cup julienned mixed vegetables (onion, bean sprouts, cabbage and carrots– or your favorites)
3 oz. parboiled shrimp
3/4 cup soft rice noodles
1/3 cup mixed red and green bell peppers sliced thinly
3 tbs. green curry sauce
1 tbs. crispy garlic

Method of Preparation:
– Add vegetable oil to a hot wok, then throw in an egg, garlic and stir for about 30 seconds.

– Add rice noodles that have been soaked in water. Toss in red and green peppers, house mixed vegetables, parboiled shrimp and stir for another minute. Add green curry sauce, mix well and it’s ready to eat.

To Plate:
Top with crispy garlic and Sriracha Sauce.
