Sure we love Marge Simpson and Amy Schumer. But our main lady is: Cookie! Tonight we’ve got a new look at Season Three of “Empire” and a new interview with the queen, Taraji P. Henson.

Season Three of “Empire” is just around the corner, and this new trailer giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.

This time, show producer’s are using the famed movie “The Godfather” as inspiration. Taraji P. Henson, who plays Cookie, says fans can expect…

Taraj P. Henson: “Lots of drama. It’s ‘Empire,’ that’s what we do, drama.”

Some show story lines will even be ripped from the headlines.

Taraji P. Henson: “We tackle what’s going on in the world right now, put it that way.”

Actor Bryshere Gray, who plays Hakeem, is front and center in Season Three playing a more pivotal role as the new CEO of Empire.

Bryshere Gray: “Wow, man, I’ve never been a part of nothing as big as the show, and it’s just been like, as you said, been an inspirational platform across the world. To be able to just be creative in so many lights; acting, music. And for it to be my first time ever doing something this big, to be the third lead on the show, it’s amazing man. It wakes me up every day thanking God.”

Gray says he’s relishing his new-found success.

Bryshere Gray: “You may get a thousand no’s and that one yes, and that’s how it was for me. Me sleeping on the floor. Me being in West Philadelphia. Just a young kid that didn’t have no vision, nowhere he was going to go. All I did see was the stop sign. I didn’t see anything further than that stop sign. Now I see the world. That’s what I want kids to know. You might be somewhere now, but you’re not who you’re going to be. Just keep going.”

“Empire” also keeping up with its big guest stars. Music diva Mariah Carey joining the cast. The songstress is set to play Kitty, a superstar singer who comes to collaborate with Jamal Lyon, played by actor Jussie Smollett.

Finally, we’ll find out who went over the balcony — Rhonda or Anika? And will Cookie finally leave Luscious and find love?

Season Three of “Empire” premieres Sept. 21.
