There was a major star sighting in SoFlo Thursday, and this star shines really bright. Shemar Moore was in for some girl talk, and to give Shireen the 411 on his new movie “The Bounce Back.”

“The Bounce Back” is bouncing into South Florida.

“What do you do for a living? The prob. With therapist is that even once you understand your pain you never let it go. Quick fixes like your are always a scam.

That’s the gorgeous Shemar Moore, the movie’s star and producer. Thursday, Deco caught up with him at the SLS Brickell.

Shemar Moore: “It’s about falling in love, getting your feelings hurt by love and falling out of love and then finding the courage to fall back in love again.”

Oh my gosh — I can’t stop looking at him! Anyway, Shemar plays a single dad and author — in love with a woman who doesn’t care for his brand of advice.

Shemar Moore: “It’s just a fun little love story about two people from opposite sides of the tracks, and realizing that they’re both right in what they ultimately want from love. Both of them have to make concessions.”

Wanna love Shemar a little more? This man is here for the Women’s International Film and Art Festival!

Shemar Moore: “This weekend is the Women’s International Film Festival, so I am here to support women in the arts and they’re supporting me by screening my movie tonight.”

Yvonne McCormack-Lyons: “The Women’s International Film Festival is an opportunity for women artists to come together to screen their film and learn more about production of film made network and most importantly to empower women’s vision and voices.”

Since Shemar’s movie was co-written by a woman, it’s a great way to kick off the weekend.

Yvonne McCormack-Lyons: “We are really excited about the kick off with “The Bounce Back.” We are glad they are here to support women in the arts and that’s a blessing for us.”

Sounds like Shemar feels the same way about us.

Shemar Moore: “Miami, Miami, Miami. There is no other place like it. From the mojitos to beaches to weather and sunshine, it’s a playground. It’s paradise.”

Maybe he’s in love with the weather. But maybe, just maybe it’s me.

Shemar Moore: “I never want to leave Miami.”
