Have you ever wondered what "Pride and Prejudice" would be like if they just added a few zombies? Wonder no more! Because the new movie "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" answers that very question. Deco’s Chris Van Vliet chatted with the cast on South Beach today and he joins us with more.

What a title right? When I first heard of "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies," I’ll be honest, I thought it was a parody. But oh no, it’s very real and the stars of the movie tell me it’s exactly what it sounds like.

Chris Van Vliet: "Is this as simple as ‘Pride and Prejudice’ with some zombies?"

Matt Smith: "Yeah."

Lily James: "Pretty much."

Chris Van Vliet: "Well, there we go!"

Lily James: "Interview over!"

The movie is based on the best selling book, also called "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies." It has the same characters you know from Jane Austen’s classic story, but with a bit of a twist. OK, it’s a big twist. They’re killing zombies.

Douglas Booth: "If you’re a fan of ‘Pride and Prejudice,’ you have to see this film because what’s so amazing is seeing like how that great love story and how all of the original beats from that story hold up."

The love story is still very much the heart of the film… but they’re dealing with a zombie apocalypse. You still with me? And the best zombie killers are women.

Chris Van Vliet: "Well Lily, in ‘Pride and Prejudice,’ the women are so prim and proper. Not so much here."

Lily James: "Not so much. Yeah, I mean the story does uphold and you’ve got all of those beats but at the same time, everything is life and death so this brings out a whole different quality in the characters and things are quite urgent and immediate."

Lily James: "There is really a bit of everything. There’s this great love story and there’s these amazing action, terrifying sequences."

If you’re looking for Valentine’s plans, we’ve got you covered. "P and P and Z," as I like to call it, hits theaters on Feb. 5.
