Adam Stewart, Sandals Resorts: “We’ve created the first over-the-water villa village in the Caribbean.”
At least that’s what Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica hopes.
Adam Stewart: “It’s actually on a little private island just off of Sandals.”
Jump on a 90-minute plane ride from Miami and you’ll be whisked away on a private boat to their latest creation.
Adam Stewart: “Two hundred-square-foot villas, over-the-water pools, infinity edge, glass in the floor, solid bathtubs, butler service.”
For $3,000 a night, your butler will make your champagne wishes and caviar dreams come true.
Adam Stewart: “Your butler’s been trained to say, ‘Yeah, Mon, we’re gonna take care of that.’ ‘Whatever you need, we’ll make it happen.'”
As for the over-the-water bungalows, Sandals just wants to kick the all-inclusive experience up a notch.
Adam Stewart: “We have done very well in the segment of people that want things that are not normal.”
Laura Carneal: “The bungalows are so amazing. They have thought of everything,from the glass floor bottoms to the hammocks outside and the infinity pool. It’s to die for.”
