Their sister restaurant, Parador La Huella in Uruguay, is a hit so it’s no wonder the folks behind Quinto La Huella chose South Florida as the spot to build their first North American outpost.

In typical South American fashion Quinto La Huella features a “parrilla” in their kitchen to turn out dishes like “Entrecôte” rib eye ($36) “Entraña” skirt steak ($24) and “Rack de cordero” rack of lamb ($38). Salads, grilled fishes and sides are plenty for the non carnivores to enjoy as well. And in addition to the traditional “parrilla” dishes they’ve also added a sushi counter to highlight Florida’s fine seafood.

The restaurant is large, 359 seats to be exact. There’s indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful downtown and bay views from the 5th floor of the new EAST Miami hotel at Brickell’s City Centre. It’s the hotel’s signature eatery. The company’s flagship restaurant Parador La Huella in Uruguay has been featured on Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants list TWICE. If that’s any indication of what’s to come I say bring it!
