A half or a whole sandwich? If that’s the decision you’re up against ohhhhhh, how I envy you! That can only mean you’re at Halves & Wholes, the new amaze-balls sandwich shop that recently opened on Miami Beach.
Chef Bernie Matz is crushing it with a creative and yummy list of sandwiches that will keep you coming back again and again. On a recent visit I feel like I had one bite of almost all of them LOL. My fave had to be the Eggplant Croqueta. If I didn’t know any better I’d think I was eating an actual croqueta instead of fried eggplant. The short rib Stack sandwich and turkey Superbird came in a close 2nd and 3rd. But what else would we expect from Chef Bernie and the Menin Hospitality group. The same bunch who brought us Bodega Taqueria y Tequila which happens to be right across the street.
Halves and Wholes offers some great salad options too. I’ll have to go back and try those next time.
