We are less than a month from the first Miami Dolphins game of the season, and while the players are getting ready, so are the cheerleaders. Deco’s Chris Van Vliet takes us a behind the scenes of the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders calendar shoot.

Around this time every year, I am faced with an impossible task: picking my favorite month.

And honestly I can’t — and more importantly, why would you need to pick just one? Deco went behind the scenes of the Dolphins Cheerleaders calendar shoot on the beautiful island of Barbados.

The Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders headed to the Sugar Bay Resort in Barbados for their 2017 swimsuit calendar shoot. They’ve been to a lot of beautiful destinations, but this is the first time the squad has visited Barbados.

They shot for seven days, but the girls weren’t just working it for the cameras. They also took some time to take in all that the island has to offer.

Dolphins Cheerleader 1: “I’ve actually been surfing quite a few times before. I’ve never been surfing in Barbados, so this is really awesome”

When they weren’t surfing, they were taking on some other water sports.

Dolphins Cheerleader 2: “We’re about to take the paddleboard out into the ocean to do some yoga to help us relax.”

Back on dry land, they tried their hand at cricket, learned to make some local delicacies and even did some exploring.

Dolphins Cheerleader 3: “Right now we are 80 feet underground in a 500,000-year-old cave.”

The 2017 calendar will be unveiled on Sept. 30 at the annual Dolphins Cheerleaders Fashion Show. And you get to see the squad in person when they take the field for the home opener at the newly minted “Hard Rock Stadium” on Sept. 25.

If you just can’t wait, the calendar is available now for pre-order. Place your order at http://dolphinscheerleaders.com/swimsuit.
